These biscuits are really good to make with family and friends as these are really simple and fun to do. I got this recipe from the good food site. Happy Baking! :-D
Ingredients:
125g butter
55g caster sugar-plus extra to sprinkle on top when you take them out of the oven.
180g plain flour
Method:
1. Pre-heat the oven to 190C
2. Beat the butter and sugar together until creamy
3. Mix in the flour to the mixture and when fully incorporated, mould firmly into a ball so it doesn't crumble straight away in you hands.
4. Roll out your dough so it's around 1 cm thick. Then cut into shapes using cookie cutters and place onto a baking tray with grease proof paper on it.
5. Place them in the fridge for 20 mins to chill.
6. Put into the oven for 15-20 mins or until light golden brown.
7. Sprinkle sugar on top of the warm biscuits and serve.
