I think fruit salad is really nice, so I put it on this blog, it's just nice as a snack or in your packed lunch for school. I like it for my breakfast in the morning sometimes. You can add any extra fruit that you want! These are the ingredients I used:

Ingredients...

Strawberries
Pineapple
Melon
Cherries
Grapes

Method...

  1. First chop your strawberries into halves and put into a salad bowl.
     2.  Then chop up your pineapple into cubes and put the into the bowl.

     3. Put as many grapes as you want.

     4. Slice up the melon, slice out the core of the melon and cut up and put into the bowl.

Then your done  :)  :-D

When you are serving it tastes really nice with yoghurt or a sprinkling of sugar Hope you enjoyed cooking this as much as I did!

My family love this dinner, it is so nice to create something and then share it with your family and friends. Nearly every week I do a lovely Sunday dinner. I mainly use potatoes, mixed veg and gravy, and parsnips, to go with the dish and when I do beef I make roast puddings. Have fun! :)

This is a daddy sized portion!

Ingredients...

A whole chicken
Mixed veg
4-5 medium sized potatoes
Parsnips (optional - My mum doesn't like these!)
Bisto gravy granuels

2  chicken oxo cubes
Salt and Pepper to taste

Method...

  1. First turn the oven on to 200C and put some oil into a tray and calculate the time that the chicken will take to cook and add on the time it needs to rest (around 20 minutes)
  2. Season the chicken with salt and pepper and 1 crushed oxo cube sprinkled over the top ,put into the oven.
  3. Fill a pot a quarter full with cold water, season with cooking salt, chop potatoes into quarters and put into pot, then put onto boil for 5 mins (part boiling)
  4. While those are cooking, peel and quarter the parsnips then put them in with the potatoes.
  5. Once the oil has been heated put the potatoes and parsnips in to roast for around an hour until crispy (yum!)

While they are cooking...

  6. Put veggies onto to cook for 10 to 20 minutes
  7. Take chicken out of the oven  and leave to rest for 20 minutes

8. Carve chicken and get everything else out and serve.

It will taste delicious and great fun to cook!

Half a teaspoon of vanilla extract
A quarter of a bag of chocolate drops
A couple of shakes of galaxy hot chocolate
A jar of Nutella

For the Icing

100g of softened butter (4oz)
225g of icing sugar (8oz)
Half a teaspoon of vanilla extract
A splash of milk
2 large tablespoons of Nutella

 Method

  1. Pre-heat the oven to 180C (Gas mark4) (Fan 160C)
  2. Put muffin cases into a 12 hole baking tray
  3. Measure the cake mix ingredients out and put them into a mixing bowl and whisk until blended and smooth
  4. Spoon into paper cases
  5. Bake for 20-25 mins until beautiful golden brown
  6. Take out of the oven and place onto a wire cooling rack to cool

Meanwhile...

Make up the icing ready to pipe on to the cakes when they have cooled.

Once the cakes have cooled....

Make a small hole in each of them with a knife or apple corer and pipe some Nutella from the jar into the hole. This fills the cake with yummy Nutella in the middle!

Pipe on the icing and then you're done!:)

My sister loves these cupcakes!!!
